• The file number and folder name al s o indicate the location of the file
on the memory. A recording with the file number “101-0107”, made
on November 3 will be found in the folder DCIM\101_1103. If it i
s an
MP4 movie, it s file name will be MVI_0107.MP4; if it i s a photo, it s file
name will be IMG_0107.JPG.
[ A uto Power Off]: In order to s ave power when the camcorder i s pow-
ered by a battery pac k , it will automatically s hut off if left without any
operation for 3 minute s .
• Approximately 30 s econd s before the camcorder s hut s off, [Auto
Power Off] will appear. Operating any of the camcorder’ s control s
while the me ss age i s di s played will prevent the camcorder from s hut-
ting off.
[Power On U s ing LCD Panel]: When thi s s etting i s s et to [Enable],
opening the LCD panel turn s the camcorder on, while clo s ing the LCD
panel turn s it off. S et to [Off] to deactivate thi s feature. In either ca s e,
you can s till u s e

[U S B Connection Type] (playbac k mode only) : S elect s the type of
connection u s ed by default when the camcorder i s connected to an
external device u s ing a U S B connection.
[ Computer] or [ Connect S tation]: S elect one of the s e s etting s if
you plan to connect the camcorder to only one type of device (a com-
puter or the optional C
S 100 Connect S tation, re s pectively).
[ Connect and S et]: Thi s s etting i s more convenient if you do not
plan to u s e the camcorder with only one type of device and will connect
it s ometime s to a computer and s ometime s to the optional C S 100 Con-
nect S tation.
