The DC controller regulates the envelope feeder driver, 

 pick-up commands (1st Start

and 2nd Start) at the appropdate 

 to the envelope feeder driver via the serial line.

The envelope feeder driver runs the motor according to the commands. Figure 2-49 shows the
flow of signals between the feeder and the printer. The envelope feeder is supplied with 
VDC power from the printer.
