Trying the Camera Out
Shooting
For fully automatic selection of the optimal settings for specific scenes,
simply let the camera determine the subject and shooting conditions.

Turn on the power and enter [ ]
mode.
z z Press the ON/OFF button.
z z
Set the mode switch to [ ].
z z Press the [ ] button, press the [ ][ ]
buttons to choose [ ], and then press
the [ ] button again.
z z
Press the [ ][ ] buttons to choose
[ ], and then press the [ ] button.

Compose the shot.
z z To zoom in and enlarge the subject, move
the zoom lever toward [ ], and to zoom
away from the subject, move it toward
[ ].

Shoot.
Shooting Still Images
z z Press the shutter button lightly (1).
z z The camera beeps twice after focusing,
and as frames are displayed to indicate
image areas in focus, you may shoot the
image by pressing the shutter button all
the way down (2).
