Page and Copy Set Numbering
This mode enables you to print page numbers, copy set numbers, and user-defined
text onto the output.
IMPORTANT

For information on the modes which cannot be set in combination with this mode, see
Chapter 9, "Combination of Functions Chart," in the
Copying and Mail Box Guide

The Page or Copy Set Numbering mode cannot be used with documents with resolution
of less than 600 x 600 dpi.

The Page or Copy Set Numbering mode cannot be used with jobs set with the Forced
Secure Watermark mode.

Printing performance may not be optimal depending on the job or the combination of
printing modes.
NOTE
š
If you select [Numbered Chapters] in combination with the Cover/Sheet Insertion mode,
the chapter numbers are counted after each sheet insertion.

If the copy number has fewer than five digits, the machine copies it as follows:
- Example: If the copy number is 10, "00010" is printed.
š
If the Page or Copy Set Numbering mode is used with the Cover/Sheet Insertion mode,
page numbers are not printed on the inserted pages.

Page Numbering
This mode enables you to print a document with page numbers (numbers only, numbers
enclosed by hyphens, chapter numbers, or the total page count).
