When Removing the Duplexing Roller 1-1
10) Remove the duplexing feed roller 1-1 [1] by moving it in the direction of
the arrow.
- 1 screw [2]
- 1 bushing (w/leaf spring) [3]
- 1 E-ring [4]
- 1 bearing [5]
- 1 belt [6]

- Front side
- 1 E-ring [2]
- 1 bearing [3]
- Rear side
- 1 E-ring [4]
- 1 pulley [5]
- 2 dowel pins [6]

1. Parts to replace
- Lower feed roller 1 (FC9-9471)
- Lower feed roller 2 (FC7-7501)
- Lower feed roller 3 (FC7-7501)
2. Before the replacement
1) Remove the Lower Feed Unit. Refer to "Chapter 8 Removing the Lower
Feed Unit" in the Service Manual.
3. Replacement procedure
3-1. Removing the lower feed roller 1
1) Turn over the Lower Feed Unit, and remove the Protection Plate [1].
- 2 screws [2]

2) Remove the lower feed roller 1 [1].
- Front side
- 1 screw [2]

1) Turn over the Lower Feed Unit, and remove the Protection Plate [1].

When replacing, be sure to apply grease around the inner diameter of the
bearing.
