On-Site Service (Warranty)
The CITS help desk will help the end-user over the telephone to
diagnose any problems with the machine first. If telephone-based
troubleshooting fails to resolve the problem, CITS will dispatch the
Authorized Servicer of record to provide on-site service.
If there is no Service Provider of record, CITS will dispatch a third-party
organization to provide on-site service.

Internet Support
End-user support is also available via the Canon USA consumer Web
site:
www.usa.canon.com/imageprograf
. The end-user can access print
drivers, software downloads, FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions),
review brochures, and research products. Information for technical
support is also available on the consumer Web site.

CarePAK Extended Service Plans
There are two Canon CarePAK Extended Service Plans offered by
Canon USA, and they differ only in the way one purchases the
CarePAK.
Virtual CarePAK:
Purchased directly by the end-user from Canon

. Up to 2 years,
extended coverage plans are available.
eCarePAK:
Purchased in bulk by a distributor or Authorized Servicer,
who then sells the eCarePAK to their customers. Up to 2 years,
extended coverage plans are available.
Both of the CarePAK Extended Service Plans enable the customer to
extend the service coverage on their Canon product beyond the one (1)
year limited warranty. They provide the customer toll-free telephone
support, and if needed, On-site Service for their Canon product for the
duration of the extended coverage. A customer can purchase a 1 year or
2 year extended coverage plan.
Note:
•
CarePAK coverage cannot be extended beyond the original term
purchased.
•
The CarePAK Extended Service Plan must be purchased during the
product warranty period, and goes into effect on the day the original
warranty expires.
•
The CarePAK Extended Service Plan does not include coverage for
any consumables, such as paper.
