Handling Finisher Controller PCB Replacements
■ Handling before replacement
• When backup is possible
1. Before replacing the finisher controller PCB, back up the counter values of consumableparts and various adjustment
values to the host machine using the host machine's service mode.
SORTER > FUNCTION > FIN-BK-R
2. Turn OFF/ON the main power switch.
• When backup is impossible
1. When connecting to iR-ADV devices, output the service mode setting values by P-PRINT.
COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > P-PRINT
If P-PRINT cannot be output, handling before replacement is not performed. Replace the finisher controller PCB.

CAUTION:
• Connecting to iR devices
If the finisher version is old, a message prompting you to update will appear.If this message appears, update it
automatically.
If you select to skip the message screen indicating that the combination is not correct, the message will appear every
time you start the host machine unless you disable the message in service mode.

Setting of firmware update operation (Lv.2):
COPIER > OPTION > FNC-SW > VER-CHNG
• If backup operation has been performed
1. Write the backup data to the new PCB in the host machine's service mode.
SORTER > FUNCTION > FIN-BK-W
2. Turn OFF/ON the main power switch.
• If backup operation has not been performed
1. If there is the output P-PRINT*1
Input the value (ADJUST/OPTION) in SORTER item. However, in this case, the counter cannot enter.
*1: P-PRINT can be output only iR-ADV devices.
2. If there is not the output P-PRINT
Enter the values of service mode items recorded on the service label of the finisher rear cover.
