WebTools
WebTools allows you to manage the imagePRESS Server remotely from the Internet or your company’s intranet.
Once enabled, you can access WebTools from a network computer. Make sure that the network setup options are
correct for your environment.
The imagePRESS Server supports Internet or intranet access with WebTools from Windows and Mac OS
computers.
Note:
WebTools can be used with HTTP or HTTPS. If the protocol is HTTP, WebTools redirects the access to
HTTPS.

provides you with current information about installed options and
the jobs processing and printing on the imagePRESS Server. You do not
need a password to use this feature. For more information, see

Downloads
allows users to download installers for printer drivers and other
software directly from the imagePRESS Server. You do not need a password
to use this feature. For more information, see

Docs
Docs
allows users to access, manage, and modify jobs in their mailboxes on
the imagePRESS Server, and submit jobs to the imagePRESS Server. You do
not need a password to use this feature.
Configure
Configure
allows you to view and modify imagePRESS Server options from a
network computer. You need an Administrator password to use this feature.

Enable WebTools
To use WebTools, you must have TCP/IP enabled and a supported Internet browser.
•
On each client computer, do the following:
a)
Enable TCP/IP networking.
b)
Assign a valid, unique IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address, if required.
c)
Make sure that a supported Internet browser is installed.
