If prompted, log on with Administrator privileges: Enter the password, scroll down, and click
Login

The default Administrator password is Fiery.1 (case-sensitive).
Note:
The Administrator login automatically times out after the time interval specified in setup. The default
timeout is 5 minutes. If the timeout message displays, scroll down and press
OK
.
After viewing or changing any settings on the tabs you can return to the main screen by pressing
Cancel
or
Save
Changes
.

General
Specify general imagePRESS Server settings.
Server Name
Sets the name of the imagePRESS Server on the network (15 characters maximum).
Note:
If you set up more than one imagePRESS Server, do not assign them the same name.
Server Comments
Provides optional information about the imagePRESS Server (64 characters maximum). Only alphanumeric
characters and the hyphen are allowed.
Workgroup or Domain
Specifies the name of the Workgroup or Domain.
Use Character Set
Specifies which character set to use to display file names on the printer control panel and in Command WorkStation.
This is important if file names include accented or composite characters (such as é or æ). For mixed-platform
networks, select the setting that gives the best overall representation of the special characters you use.
Note:
Some characters may not display correctly if Macintosh is selected. To avoid this, use 1-byte characters for job
and user names.
