Prepare print jobs with the printer driver

Introduction

The printer driver enables you to prepare the print job completely. The printer driver appears in
all applications for Microsoft

®

Windows

®

and Apple

®

Macintosh

®

operating systems.

This procedure describes how to prepare a print job in general.

Illustration

Procedure

1.

Check the document size, orientation and binding edge derived from the application.
The document size is derived from the software application you use and can occasionally be
transferred wrongly.

2.

Check the preview pane.

3.

Select the preset for your job, if required.
Check the result at the preview pane.

4.

Define the specific settings for your job.
Check the result at the preview pane.

5.

Define the generic settings for the whole print job.

6.

Save your settings in a template for future use, if required.

7.

Check the status of the printer.

8.

Click [OK].
