PRISMAsync Software Options
Software options available for the imagePRESS C800/C700 with the
PRISMAsync Controller Attached
1. E-shredding-D1
•
Allows the end-user to securely erase jobs from the imagePRESS
C800/C700 Series and the PRISMAsync controller to prevent
unauthorized access to deleted jobs
•
This functionality provides a layer of data security for government
agencies and corporate enterprises with an increased demand for
data security
•
Available erase options are:
•
Gutmann - All jobs on the imagePRESS C800/C700Series and
the PRISMAsync controller are erased in 35 overwrite passes.
•
US DOD 5220.22m, 8-306.d - All jobs on the imagePRESS
C800/C700 Series and the PRISMAsync controller are erased in
three (3) overwrite passes.
•
Custom - The end-user can define the number of overwrite
passes manually.
Note
: Depending on the e-shredding settings (number of overwrites) and
the complexity of the processed job data e-shredding will impact product
performance. An impact of 10% to 40% can be expected on product
performance.
2. DocBox-E1
•
Provides operators with a comprehensive means to store, group, edit
and reprint jobs. The editing options are a subset of the
PRISMAprepare job preparation software.
•
Multiple DocBoxes can be set up (each with a unique name) and can
be secures with a PIN.
•
A DocBox can contain several Jobs (print jobs and scan jobs). Jobs
can be edited and stored within the DocBox
•
Basic features of the DocBox functionalities:
•
Carry out advanced job preparation actions.
•
Correct settings when the proof print is not correct, for example
change the print quality or layout of a document.
•
Combine analogue documents with digital documents.
•
Store jobs that must be reprinted regularly (examples: reports or
books).
