Password Setting
If you click [Password Setting] on the left menu, the page below is
displayed.
Maintenance Setting
If you click [Maintenance Setting] on the left menu, the page below is
displayed.
On this page, you can restore the scanner’s factory default settings
and update the firmware.
Encryption
password
Set an encrypted password using 8
to 16 characters. You can use
single-byte letters, numbers,
hyphens, and underbars. An error
appears when you press the
[Apply] button if you input any
illegal characters.

Trap setting Select ON/OFF for trap setting. ON
Trap
destinations
To specify a host to be targeted for
trap setting, input its IP address or
computer name. You can specify a
maximum of 5. You can input up to
64 characters in each line.
