Achieving Vivid Reproduction of Images with Lots of Greens
and Blues

You can get the best results by using Vivid Photo function when printing photos of landscape scenes that feature
the strong blues of sky and sea and the lush greens of natural vegetation.

Important

In Windows Me, Windows 98 or Windows 95

The Vivid Photo function will not be available if Background Printing has been disabled.

It is easy to confirm whether background printing is in progress. Open the printer driver's
Properties dialog box, select Page Setup and click Printer Control.

Note

Vivid reproduction of blues and greens does not affect the color of foreground
subjects. Skin tones will look natural without excessive red coloring.

The effect will not be as strong with low saturation colors close to gray.
