You can magnify the image and focus precisely with manual focus.
1 Set the focus mode to [MF].

See page 108 to set the focus mode to
[
MF ].
2 Display the magnifying frame.

Tap the [
u
] icon.

The magnifying frame will appear.
3 Select the area to magnify.

Drag the magnifying frame to select the
area you want to magnify.

To return to the screen’s center, press the
<
X L
> button.
4 Magnify the image.

Each time you tap on [
u
] on the screen,
the magnified area will change as follows:
MF: Manual Focus
AE lock
Magnified area position
Magnification
1x
a
5x
a
10x
a
Magnification
