Recording remotely using an XC Protocol compatible controller
Set the IP address of the camera on the optional XC Protocol compatible Remote Camera Controller RC-IP100
to control the camera remotely. Using the RC-IP100 you can remotely control camera settings like the aperture
and shutter speed, or change picture related settings like the knee and sharpness. For more details on the
connection, settings and the RC-IP100 refer to the RC-IP100 Instruction Manual.

• Select a connection setting with the [XC Protocol] function setting.
NOTES
• When connected to the camera, the following functions of the RC-IP100 cannot be used.

F1/F2 knob:
PT Speed, Clear Scan, Slow (Second), AGC Limit, AE Shift, R Gain, B Gain, Sharpness: Limit,
Noise Reduction, Knee: Saturation, Black Gamma Range, Black Gamma Point, Color Matrix: (Gain, Phase,
R-G, G-R, B-R, R-B, G-B, B-G).

USER1/USER2 button:
Shooting Mode, Shutter Mode, Gain, Metering Mode, Focus Mode, Preset Color
Settings, Gamma, Color Space, Color Matrix, HLG Color, Noise Reduction, Knee-Automatic.

• The zoom can only be operated when a compatible EF Cinema/broadcast lens (

About changing custom picture related settings using the optional RC-IP100 Remote Camera Controller
- If a protected custom picture file is selected on the camera, custom picture related settings cannot be
changed using the remote camera controller.
- Adjusting custom picture related settings using the remote camera controller will change the settings
registered under the currently selected custom picture file. If you want to keep an important custom picture
file, backup it or select in advance a custom picture file you do not mind changing.
