Shooting Tips
z
Adjust the face size.
Frames are displayed around any main subjects detected for skin
smoothing.
For more effective skin smoothing, you can adjust the size so that the
frame is displayed on the subject’s face.
z
Focus on the face.
Check that the AF point covering the face lights up. For close-ups of the
face, focus on the eyes.
z
Areas other than people’s skin may be modified, depending on the shooting
conditions.
z
In viewfinder shooting against bright backgrounds, or in similar conditions,
skin may not be smoothed as expected, and faces may look too dark. In this
case, adjust
[Brightness]
or switch to Live View shooting.
