Function settings particular to Live View shooting are explained here.
If you press the <
Q
> button while the image is displayed on the LCD
monitor in a Creative Zone mode, you can set any of the following:
AF
method, Drive/self-timer
, White balance, Picture Style, Auto Lighting
Optimizer, Image-recording quality, and ISO speed. In Basic Zone
modes, you can set the functions shown in the table on page 75, as well
as the functions in bold above.

Press the <
Q
> button.
The functions settable with Quick
Control will appear on the left of the
screen.
If the AF method is <
f
>, the AF
point will also be displayed. You can
also select the AF point (p.154).

Select a function and set it.
Press the <
W
> <
X
> keys to select a
function.
The settings of the selected function
and Feature guide (p.55) will appear.
Press the <
Y
> <
Z
> keys or turn the
<

> dial to set the function.
Pressing <

> will display the
respective function setting screen.
To set Auto white balance, select

>, then press the

B
> button.

Exit the setting.
Press the <
Q
> button to return to
Live View shooting.
