3.3.2 Detecting the Presence/Absence of an Original

0013-3469

The presence/absence of an original in the original tray is detected by the original sensor (S6).
When an original is placed on the original tray, the light from the light-emitting side of the original sensor is
blocked, causing the light-receiving side of the original sensor to send the original detection signal (DTS) to the
ADF controller PCB, which in response turns on the Original Set indicator.
