code Error state Description
E413 Release motor error (The level of the roller motor HP sensor has not changed within the specified time
even after the Shift motor was driven.)
Cause: The release motor HP sensor, release motor, or ADF driver PCB is defective or the release cam
load has increased.
0001 The release roller has
been opened during
release t motor
initialization. The release motor HP sensor had not turned on within the specified
time since start of driving of the release motor, and the operation
was retried but turning on of the release motor HP sensor has not
been detected.
0002 The release roller has
been closed during
release motor
initialization. The release motor HP sensor had not turned on within the specified
time since start of driving of the release motor, and the operation
was retried but turning on of the release motor HP sensor has not
been detected.

predetermined distance since it was detected by
the registration sensor.
0005 Read sensor delay SR1,SR2 The read sensor has not detected paper when the
paper has been fed by the predetermined
distance since reception of a pickup request.
0006 Read sensor stationary SR2 The trailing edge of paper has not been detected
when the paper has been fed by the
predetermined distance since detection of it by
the read sensor.
0007 Delivery reversal sensor delay SR2,SR3 The delivery reversal sensor has not detected
paper when the paper has been fed by the
predetermined distance since reception of a read
request.
0008 Delivery sensor stationary SR3 The trailing edge of paper has not been detected
when the paper has been fed by the
predetermined distance since the delivery
reversal sensor detected the paper.
0044 Fist document registration sensor
stationary SR1 A read sensor delay jam has occurred during
feed of the first document.
0045 First document read sensor non-
arrival SR1,SR2 A read sensor delay jam has occurred during
feed of the first document.
0046 First read sensor stationary SR2 A read sensor stationary jam has occurred
during feed of the first document.
0047 First document delivery reversal
sensor non-arrival SR2,SR3 A delivery reversal sensor delay jam has
occurred during feed of the first document.
0048 First document delivery reversal
sensor stationary SR2 A delivery reversal sensor stationary jam has
occurred during feed of the first document.
0071 Timing error - The software sequence has not ended normally
within the specified time.
0073 Release NG SR11 The Release motor HP sensor has not turned on
within the specified time (1 second).
