1.2 Shutting Down the CXDI
NOTE:
Never turn off the power during the shutdown process.
This may result in hardware failure or loss of data.
NOTE:
Be sure to turn off the power once a day, and conduct an inspection based on
the procedure in the hardware manual.
1.2.1 To Shut Down the CXDI
1
Display the system screen.
Touch
[SYSTEM]
on the exposure screen.
2
Select the shutdown method.
Select
[SHUTDOWN]
or
[SHUTDOWN after trans]
from the shutdown menu. A
window will open and the confirmation message
“Are you sure you want to shutdown
the system?”
will be displayed. Touch
[OK]
.
3
Turn off the power.
A window opens with the message
“It is now safe to turn off the power.”
Refer to the
hardware manual, and turn OFF the power.
Depending on the type of hardware used, the power may turn OFF automatically after
the message appears.
Difference between [SHUTDOWN] and [SHUTDOWN after trans]
Touching
[SHUTDOWN]
will shut down the system immediately. If images were
being output at that time, output will resume after the power is next turned ON.
Touching
[SHUTDOWN after trans]
will shut down the system after output of all the
images is complete. However, if an error occurs during output, the system will shut
down at that point.
