Make a manual cut
Introduction
When custom media is used, you can be requested to manually cut the media at the back output.
Before you begin
Use the supplied knife, or any other knife or pair of scissors that is sharp enough, to cut the
media.
Procedure
1.
The user panel displays a request to get a knife to make a manual cut . Get the knife and tap [OK]
on the user panel.
The printer transports the media. A small strip is visible at the back output.
2.
Use the knife to cut the media. Cut the media as close as possible to the back output.
IMPORTANT
Check any obstacles blocking the cutting path. Make sure you do not cut any cables or
other components.
3.
When you have finished cutting, tap [OK] on the user panel.
