Perform a media cali-
bration.
Procedure
1.
Perform a media calibration.
Calibrate the media on page 118
. A media calibration will minimize
misalignment between matte and gloss in 1st meter (40") of the print, caused by the media step.

Make sure that the [Automatic advance correction] setting in the RIP is enabled. Use enhanced
markers.
Change the media settings on page 65
3.
After printing for about 0.5-0.7 m with [Automatic advance correction] enabled, the automatic
advance correction will have optimized the media step. Any misalignment between matte and
gloss in FLXfinish
+
mode will then also disappear.
