Unload a media roll from the drawer
Introduction
Unload a media roll from the drawer when you want to load a new media roll.
CAUTION
• Watch your fingers when you handle the media roll.
• Lifting heavy media, 25 kg (55 lb) or more, has to be done by at least two people or with the
help of external lifting tools.
IMPORTANT
• Handle the media roll with care. A dented media roll can damage the printer.
• Only open the media drawer when the indicator light on the drawer is on. Do not open the
drawer when the light is off, you can damage the machine.
NOTE
Put on gloves to avoid pollution of the paper by your fingerprints.
Procedure
1.
Pull firmly to open the media drawer.
2.
Use both hands to turn the media roll backwards (1) and remove the media from the metal paper
guide.
