Start manual maintenance

Introduction

Start manual maintenance in case of quality issues.

Perform any or all of the listed actions on the operator panel.

You can print a nozzle classification chart to optimize the nozzles.

Procedure

1.

On the operator panel tap on the [Tools] icon on the right.

2.

Tap on [Manual maintenance].

NOTE

We recommend that you check the [Advanced automatic nozzle optimization] when you are
experiencing print quality issues. After you have cleaned the matrix plate and the printheads
the recovered nozzles have to be switched on again (if you do not check this option the nozzles
will keep the status "do not use").

3.

When you want to print nozzle classification charts to optimize the nozzles:

1.

Make sure [Advanced automatic nozzle optimization] is selected.

2.

Select a roll to print the nozzle classification charts on.
