The Technique of Color Printing
Color copying reproduces original images in tiny dots of C (cyan), M (magenta), Y
(yellow), and K (black). Therefore, the colors of the original image are separated
into these four colors during copying.
The print data for each color is then developed onto the respective photoconductive
drum and subsequently printed onto the transfer belt, with the various colors
overlapping. The complete image is then printed on paper at the transfer roller.
The printed paper goes through a fixing unit, and is output into a tray.
