Routine Maintenance

Replacing a BJ Cartridge

If the print quality remains poor even after replacing the ink tanks and cleaning the print
heads, the print heads are worn out and you must replace the BJ Cartridge.

Canon recommends that you use the following BJ Cartridges with this
printer.

Black BJ Cartridge BC-30
Color BJ Cartridge BC-31
Color BJ Cartridge BC-32 Photo

Make sure that the printer is switched on and open the front cover. The car-

tridge holder moves to the centre.
