POTENTIAL HAZARD
Using an unspecified fuse or shorting the fuse
holder.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Using a fuse with a rating other than specified or
using other materials in place of the fuse will cause
damage to system. A malfunctioning electrical
system increases the risk that you may be seriously
injured or killed while operating the vehicle. For
example, an electrical fire can develop from a
system overload or you could lose vehicle lighting.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Always use a replacement fuse of the specified
rating.
Never use other materials in place of the fuse.
If a fuse blows immediately after replacement have
the electrical circuits checked by an authorized
Cannondale Motorsports Dealer.
Check the condition of the wiring harness and
connectors before replacing a blown fuse.
Make sure the lighting is switched off when
replacing a fuse.
