Make sure both adjuster blocks are in the same
position on each side of the swingarm.
1.
Place motorcycle on a workstand.
2.
Clean the wheel axle and the inside of the axle
cutouts in the swingarm with contact cleaner.
3.
Dry the wheel axle and swingarm using a clean
shop towel and apply a light coat of high-quality,
waterproof grease, to the axle.
4.
Remove the left and right wheel spacers, and
clean them with contact cleaner.
5.
Dry the spacers with a rag, apply a light coat of
waterproof grease, and install them into the
wheel.
6.
Place the rear wheel between the swingarm so
the brake disc fits between the brake pads, and
the rear sprocket fits between the drive chain
guide.
7.
Push the rear wheel forward and install the drive
chain onto the rear sprocket.
8.
Install the rear wheel axle from the right side of
the swingarm.
9. Install the adjuster block, washer, and finger-tighten
the rear wheel axle nut (3).
10. Loosen the locknuts, and turn the adjuster bolts in
direction (a) until they touch the adjuster blocks.
11. Tighten the drive chain adjuster locknuts securely.

Pinched/crushed fingers or injured hands.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
The rear wheel is heavy and can easily crush
your fingers if they are caught between any
part of the wheel and swingarm.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Do not attempt to line up the wheel with your
fingers. Failure to follow this warning can lead
to serious personal injury.
