3. Initial Inspection
Upon receipt of the GPS16X-HVS, inspect the packaging and contents for
damage. File damage claims with the shipping company.

The following procedure also describes using
Short Cut
to measure the
GPS16X-HVS.
1.
Open
Short Cut
and select to create a new program.
2.
Double-click the data logger model.
3.
In the
Available Sensors and Devices
type GPS16X-HVS or find the
sensor in the
Sensors
>
Miscellaneous Sensors
folder. Double-click
GPS16X-HVS
. Specify the
Local time offset
, whether to
synchronize
datalogger clock to GPS clock
, and the
Maximum time difference
allowed between datalogger clock and GPS clock
. You may also change
any of the default labels for the returned GPS values.
