1. From the Main category of the
LoggerNet
toolbar click Status Monitor:
The Status Monitor screen should look something like this:
When the time for scheduled collection is reached on the
LoggerNet
computer clock,
LoggerNet
will connect to the station automatically and collect data from it.
2. For each station, observe the collection state (Coll State), the time that data was last
collected (Last Data Coll), the time that data will be collected next (Next Data Coll), and the
number of values collected (Vals Last Coll).
3. By highlighting a station, you can also force a data collection to occur immediately by
clicking Collect Now.
11.2 CRVW3 site visits to troubleshoot
problems
Be as prepared as possible when you travel to the field for troubleshooting. Gather as much
information about the problem as possible before arriving. Bring the same configuration
hardware with you to the field as was used during installation.
Once you arrive at the site, review physical installation and hardware configuration issues that are
detailed in
(p. 38). Refer to the maintenance items listed in
(p. 65). Connect to the CRVW3 with a USB cable and
Device Configuration
Utility
. Use the DataMonitor tab and Troubleshoot tab to investigate how the measurements of
the sensors are working or not (see
Confirm CRVW3 sensor measurements
(p. 49) for more
information). Compare the current spectrum with a baseline spectrum saved during maintenance
(see
(p. 62) for more information).
Use a portable base station (RF451/RF452 or RF407 depending on the network, and computer) to
ensure you can communicate with the CRVW3 over its radio. It may be necessary to visit the base
