7. Preconfiguring CRVW3

Preconfigure and test your measurement system before deployment in the field. Issues that are
unresolved before deployment are often more difficult to resolve.
7.1 Lab software configuration
For CRVW3 lab operations, you will need a Windows computer with administrative privileges. The
following steps only need to be done once.
1. Install the latest version of
LoggerNet
or
PC400
.
NOTE:
PC400
does not support combined communication options (for example, phone-to-RF,
advanced PakBus routing, or scheduled data collection.
LoggerNet
software is
recommended for applications that require those capabilities.
2. Open
Device Configuration Utility
and select CRVW Series.
