CLF1VMOUNTAP
ADAPTER FOR MOUNTING STANDARD V-MOUNT BATTERIES ON CLF1 SPOTLIGHTS
INTRODUCTION
Operate a CL F1 spotlight independently of a mains connection using the optionally available
CLF1VMOUNTAP adapter and a standard V-mount battery.
INTENDED USE
The product is a device for event technology!
The product has been specially developed for professional use in the area of event technology and
is not suitable for use in a household setting!
Furthermore, this product is only intended for qualified users with expertise in event technology!
Use of the product contrary to the specified technical data and operating conditions is considered
improper!
Liability for damages or third-party damage to persons and property due to improper use is
excluded!

THE REACH OF CHILDREN!
INSTALLATION
Fully disconnect the spotlight from the mains (pull out the mains plug).
Loosen and remove the four Allen screws, marked in the figure below, on the rear of the spotlight
using a suitable tool (A). Insert the four spacer sleeves attached to the V-mount adapter into the
corresponding screw holes (B) and screw the adapter into the rear of the spotlight using the
included screws (C).
Keep the original screws, which have been removed, for later reassembly.
Insert a fully-charged standard 14.4 or 14.8 volt V-mount battery into the adapter and connect the
connection cable to the 4-pin XLR socket of the spotlight (BATTERY).
The spotlight will now begin the start-up process and is operational after a short time.
Please note:
if you connect the mains power supply to the spotlight during battery operation,
the spotlight will restart and it is only operational again after the start-up process (= operation
with mains power). The same applies if you disconnect the mains power supply from the spotlight
while a battery is connected (= battery operation).
Note:
a connected battery is not supplied with charging voltage when the mains power supply is
connected at the same time.
Caution:
to avoid damage to the spotlight, the plus and minus contacts of the connection cable
must not be interchanged!
BATTERY RUNTIME
With the F1T and F1D models and a battery with 100 Wh of electrical energy, the battery runtime
in Full On operation is calculated to be around 65 minutes.
With the F1FC model and a battery with 100 Wh of electrical energy, the battery runtime in Full On
operation is calculated to be around 45 minutes.
For batteries with a larger capacity, the runtime is extended accordingly.
The actual battery runtime depends on the ambient temperature and the technical characteristics
of the battery used (e.g. final discharge voltage).
