Setting the MRU Size and the S-VLAN Ethertype
To configure the size of the MRU (Maximum Receive Unit) and the S-VLAN Ethertype:
1.
Select
Ethernet > General Configuration
. The Ethernet General Configuration page opens.

In the
MRU
field, enter the global size (in bytes) of the Maximum Receive Unit (MRU). Permitted values are
64 to 9612. The default value is 2000. Frames that are larger than the global MRU will be discarded.
3.
In the
S VLAN Ether type
field, select the S-VLAN Ethertype. This defines the ethertype recognized by the
system as the S-VLAN ethertype. Options are: 0x8100, 0x88A8, 0x9100, and 0x9200. The default value is
0x88A8.
Note
The C-VLAN Ethertype is set at 0x8100 and cannot be modified.
