FCC/IC compliance
The PTP 550 complies with the regulations that are in force in the USA and Canada.
Caution
If a PTP 550 unit is interfering with radio or television reception (this can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on), attempt the following corrective
actions:

Realign or relocate the antenna.
•
Increase the separation between the affected equipment and antenna.
•
Connect the ODU and PSU power supply into a power outlet on a circuit different
from that to which the receiver is connected.
•
Contact Cambium Point-to-Point for assistance.
5.1 GHz FCC notification
This device complies with part 15E of the US FCC Rules and Regulations. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2)
This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
For the connectorized version of the product and in order to reduce potential radio interference
to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent
isotropically radiated power (EIRP) is not more than that permitted by the regulations. The
transmitted power must be reduced to achieve this requirement.
