Install and test rectifier modules
Insert rectifier modules into the 2 power shelves in the front equipment compartment,
then test DC voltage output.
AC and DC power wiring diagrams are included in the Diagrams and Worksheets binder
that ships with the cabinet.
Description of the 60 AMP power shelf
The Calix 60 AMP power shelf contains an alarm control unit on the left and slots for four
rectifier modules on the right. Each rectifier module has its own power switch and alarm
and status indicators.
• A single rectifier module delivers -48 VDC at 15 Amps.
• A full power shelf with 4 modules produces -48 VDC at 60 Amps.
Number of rectifier modules used by the ODC-80
The Calix ODC-80 requires 6 rectifier modules - 3 modules in each power shelf. A fourth
module can be added to each power shelf for faster battery recharge.
