[ADVANCED DRIVER] (mode select) Switch
This switches the operation mode between advanced mode ( ON ) and standard driver mode
( OFF ).
Normally, you can leave this set to advanced mode ( ON ).
* If you’ve changed the setting of this switch, disconnect the UA-1G’s USB cable from your
computer and then reconnect it.
ON (Advanced mode)This mode uses the dedicated driver. Using the dedicated driver lets you play and record audio with high quality and stable timing.
[PHONES VOLUME] Dial
This adjusts the volume of the headphone signal that is output from the PHONES/DIGITAL
OUT jack.
* The volume that is output from the digital output and the OUTPUT jacks cannot be
adjusted.
Side panels
ON (Advanced mode)
This mode uses the dedicated driver.
Using the dedicated driver lets you play and record audio with high
quality and stable timing.
OFF (Standard driver mode)
This mode uses the standard driver provided by your computer’s
operating system.
This is convenient when you don’t have the dedicated driver at hand, or
when you’re unable to install the dedicated driver.
However, the following limitations will apply.

The 96 kHz sampling frequency is not supported.
•
The audio signal will have a 16-bit resolution.
•
The ASIO driver is not supported.
