ENGINE

INSTALLATION OF THE ENGINE INTO THE
FRAME

Install the engine in the reverse order of removal.
Proceed carefully taking care to correctly position the tubing and
wiring.
• Before proceeding with the installation of the engine into the frame,

support the frame with a jack or an adequate support.

• Gradually lift up the engine assembly, aligning the relative holes

with those of the frame. Before tightening the various fixings of the
engine to the specified torque, make sure that the fixings are all
properly inserted into their holes.

Torque pressure
39.2/44.1 N·m (4/4.5 kg·m)

• Insert the stud 2 and tighten it to the specified torque.

• Assemble the rear brake pedal by tightening the fixing pivot to the

specified torque.

21.5/23.5 N·m (2.2/2.4 kg·m)
• Attach the return spring.

• Assemble the footrest by tightening the two screws to the speci-

fied torque.
