4.16 Flash Card Replacement
The flash card can be replaced to make improvements and updates to the machine’s program.
The flash card holds the GUI software (graphical user interface).
All drink recipes, sales counters and other settings are stored in the flash card.
Before you begin, turn power OFF.
To remove the flash card:
1. Remove the main board protective cover.
2. Pull the flash card outward.
To install the flash card:
1. Make sure the colored side of the card is on the right.
2. Insert the flash card and push GENTLY to make sure no damage is done.
3. Screw back the main board protective cover.
4. Power brewer back ON.
5. At startup, the screen will indicate the flash card version.
At first startup, the computer might have to update firmware in the controller PCB.
The process is automatic and lasts approximately 1 minute.
Enter the serial number of the brewer under the Admin tab to ensure proper internet
network communications (see section 6.6.5).
