Software update
Software updates are available for download to registered users at
For updating the software, it is necessary that the SoundCam is supplied with power via the
power supply unit. It is necessary that the battery is charged to more than 20%. To be on the
safe side, create a backup of your data before updating.
1 .
Save the ".swupd" file on a USB stick that you
connect to your SoundCam..

In the data transfer menu, mark the file in the
right-hand window and copy it to the internal
memory of the SoundCam. (see Chapter 8.1,
"(2)Data management / Data export", Pg. 36(2)

Close the menu. The button for starting the
update can be found in the system
information menus, accessible via the
button
in the start or settings menu.

Attention! Device damage!
To ensure the functionality of the system, do
not disconnect the SoundCam from the
mains power supply during the update
process.

The dialogue window for file selection is
displayed. Mark the update file by tapping on it.
The file name is displayed in the lower bar.

Confirm and follow the instructions on the screen.
A restart of the system is necessary to apply the
changes.
You may be asked to install optional updates in a
further step. This installation may take a little more time and require another restart, but is
recommended.
