Using the Ob/Gyn Ultrasound Simulator

Vimedix

Adjusting the Heart Rate

Users can adjust the Heart Rate in different cases to the appropriate rate for a training session. The
default Heart Rate during Normal Heart is set to 90 beats per minute (bpm). The default for a
tamponade case is 120 bpm.

To adjust the Heart Rate:

• Click the

Page Up

key on the keyboard to increase the Heart Rate by

increments of 5 beats per minute

• Click the

Page Down

key on the keyboard to decrease the Heart Rate by

increments of 5 beats per minute

Using the ECG Tracing

The

ECG

button is used to enable or disable the ECG tracing on the bottom of the screen. ECG tracing is

enabled by default upon startup.

The Ultrasound Panel

The featured ECG is a normal ECG and it will be disabled in some non-applicable cases.
