When the system is turned off, the
Stabilitrak Indicator light will turn
on and

STABILITRAK OFF

(Stabili-

trak off) will appear in the Driver
Information Center display.

The vehicle will still have brake-
traction control when Stabilitrak
is off, but the engine speed
management system will be
disabled.

To return the system to its normal
operating mode, press the button
again.

Stabilitrak may also turn off auto-
matically if a problem is detected
within the system.

If the problem does not clear itself
after restarting the vehicle, see
your dealer for service.

Stabilitrak Traction Control

Traction control is part of the
Stabilitrak system.

The system comes on automatical-
ly when you start the engine.

When the system senses that
any of the wheels are spinning
or beginning to lose traction, it
selectively applies the brakes
and/or reduces engine power to
limit wheel spin.

The Stabilitrak Indicator Light will
flash.
