4. If the level in the surge tank
has dropped, add more of the
coolant mixture to bring the
level back up to the proper
mark.
5. Then replace the cap. Be sure
the cap is tight.
When the engine and cooling
system have cooled down, check
the coolant level again. If the
coolant is not at the proper level,
repeat steps 1 through 5 again. If
the coolant is not at the proper
level when the system cools down
again, have the vehicle serviced.
NOTICE
The surge tank cap is a
pressure-type cap and must be
tightly installed to prevent cool-
ant loss and possible engine
damage from overheating.
