vehicle.
Make sure the replacement tire is
compatible with your tire pressure
monitoring system. If not, the
system may give inaccurate low
pressure warnings.
Cooler weather conditions may
cause the low tire pressure
warning light and/or the
TIRE
LOW ADD AIR TO TIRE
message
to appear when you start the vehi-
cle. The message will disappear as
you drive. This could be an early
indicator that the tire pressures are
getting low and need to be
checked and inflated to the proper
pressure.
If the warning light or the message
does not disappear, make sure to
check the tire pressure and inflate
the tires to the recommended
pressure as necessary.
The Tire Pressure Monitor can alert
you about a low tire pressure
condition, but it does not replace
normal tire maintenance.
It is the owner's responsibility to
make sure the correct tire pressure
is maintained.
NOTICE
Do not use liquid sealants in
your tires. The use of sealants
could damage the tire pressure
monitor sensors.
Any resulting damage would
not be covered by your
warranty.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR
SYSTEM PROBLEMS
The low tire pressure warning light
will flash for about one minute
and then shine steadily for the
remainder of the ignition cycle if a
problem with the tire pressure
monitor system is detected.
The warning will reappear each
time the vehicle is started until the
problem is corrected.
A text message may also appear in
the Driver Information Center
display.

Information Center Messages" in
