Two-Wheel Drive Vehicles
Your vehicle was not designed to
be towed with the rear wheels on
the ground.
NOTICE
Towing a two-wheel drive
vehicle with the rear wheels on
the ground could damage the
transmission.
The repairs would not be
covered by your warranty.
The vehicle can be towed with the
rear wheels secured on a towing
dolly.
To tow your vehicle from the rear:
1. Securely attach the dolly to
the tow vehicle.
Follow the manufacturer's
instructions.
2. Drive the vehicle up onto a
towing dolly.
3. Set the parking brake firmly.
4. Shift the transmission into
P
(Park).
5. Securely attach the vehicle
being towed to the dolly.
Follow the manufacturer's
instructions.
Have the steering wheel
clamped in a straight-ahead
position. Use a clamping
device designed for towing
service.
6. Turn the ignition to
LOCK
