CAUTION
The shoulder belt should go
over the shoulder and across
the chest. These parts of the
body are best able to take belt
restraining forces.
Wearing a safety belt
improperly could cause serious
injury.
To remove the comfort guide:
1. Squeeze the belt edges
together and remove the belt
from the comfort guide.
2. Slide the comfort guide back
onto its storage clip or into its
storage pocket when not in
use.
Safety Belt Extension
If the safety belt is not long
enough to fasten around you, your
dealer will order you an extender.
When you go in to order it, take
the heaviest coat you will wear, so
the extender will be long enough
for you.
Use the extender only for the seat
it is made to fit. Do not let some-
one else use the extender. To wear
it, just attach it to the regular
safety belt.
Follow the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
Never use a belt extender when
securing a child restraint.
