Recirculation
Press the recirculation button
to
recirculate the air in your vehicle.
This is useful for keeping dust and
odors out or when quick cooling is
desired.
The recirculation symbol will
appear on the display when this
feature is active.
The A/C compressor comes
on while the system is in the
recirculation mode.
Press the button again, select
another air delivery mode or
turn off the ignition to stop the
recirculation function.
The recirculation function
cannot be activated in a heating,
defogging or defrosting mode.
If you try to activate the
recirculation feature when it is
not available, the indicator light
will flash three times to let you
know that the function will not
operate.
Using this mode in cold and damp
weather may cause the windows
to fog up.
To defog the windows quickly, use
the defog or defrosting mode and
set the fan at the highest speed.
A/C Compressor Button
Press
to manually turn the air
conditioning compressor on and
off.
The indicator light will appear on
the display.
The system will cool and dehumid-
ify the air inside the vehicle.
Air conditioning will be automati-
cally disabled if the outside
temperature drops below a level at
which compressor operation is
effective.
If you try to activate the air
conditioning feature when it is not
available, the indicator light will
flash three times to let you know
that the function will not operate.
The indicator light will turn off.
When the temperature is above
freezing, the air conditioning
compressor will run in defog and
defrost modes to help remove
moisture from the air.
You may notice water drip under
the engine sometimes after driving
with air conditioning on. This is
normal.
