WARRANTY
Thank you for choosing a BYE BIKE Genuine Part. This part is the product of
BYE BIKE's use of proven engineering, exhaustive testing and continuous
striving for superior reliability, safety and performance.
Whenever service, repair or warranty work is undertaken the vehicle service
handbook must be made available to your dealer.
All new BYE BIKE Genuine Parts which are purchased via an Authorized dealer
are covered by the BYE BIKE warranty. Within the warranty period (24 months),
BYE BIKE warrants the new part to be free from any defect in materials used in
the manufacture and/or workmanship at the time of its manufacture. Any part
found to be defective during this period will be repaired or replaced at the
discretion of BYE BIKE by an authorised dealer.
Any part replaced under the warranty will be covered for the remaining period
of the warranty.
any parts replaced under warranty must be returned to BYE BIKE by the
dealer/distributor and will become the property of BYE BIKE.
BYE BIKE may, at its discretion make any repairs or replacement of defective
parts falling outside the warranty, but such work shall not be deemed to be any
admission of liability.
CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
1. The vehicle must not have been used for competition, misused, inadequately
maintained or incorrectly serviced or maintained.
2. The vehicle must have been serviced by an authorised dealer, at the
intervals specified in the BYE BIKE Owners Handbook and the service log
completed accordingly.
3. Defects caused by faulty adjustment or repairs and alterations are not
covered by this warranty.
4. Defects caused by the use of parts and accessories not authorised by BYE
BIKE are not covered by this warranty.
5. The warranty does not cover the cost of removal and replacement of parts
unless supplied as original equipment or recommended by BYE BIKE.
6. The warranty does not cover the cost of transportation of the vehicle to or
from the authorised dealer or expenses incurred while the vehicle is off the
road for warranty repairs.
7. Normal servicing and normal service items, such as spark plugs, oil and air
filters are covered by this warranty, but only if there is a manufacturing defect.
Similarly items which are expected to wear as part of their normal function
such as tyres, bulbs, chains, brake pads and clutch plates are only covered by
the warranty if there is a manufacturing defect.
8. Other items excluded from warranty are seats, luggage, paint, chrome,
polished aluminum items or trim deterioration caused by normal wear and tear
or lack of correct maintenance.
9. Batteries are warranted for 12 months from the original date of purchase.
After this 12 month period, the battery is excluded from the terms of this
warranty. This warranty is only valid for batteries commissioned by an
authorised BYE BIKE dealer
10. The warranty does not cover defects which have not been reported to an
authorised dealer within ten days of discovery of the defect.
11. The warranty does not cover vehicles which have been inadequately
lubricated, or for which the wrong fuel or lubricant has been used.
12. Should a warranty claim become necessary, BYE BIKE and its authorised
dealers shall not be liable for loss of use, inconvenience, lost time, commercial
losses or other incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty shall be interpreted in accordance with the locals laws and any
question arising from this warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the
local courts.
GARANTÍA
Gracias por elegir un recambio original BYE BIKE. Esta parte es producto de la
ingeniería de BYE BIKE, pruebas exhaustivas y búsqueda constante de la más
alta fiabilidad, seguridad y rendimiento.
Cada vez que se lleve a cabo cualquier reparación o tarea de mantenimiento el
libro de mantenimiento del vehículo debe estar a disposición de su distribuidor.
Todas las piezas originales BYE BIKE que se adquieren a través de un
distribuidor autorizado están cubiertas por la garantía. Dentro del período de
garantía (24 meses), BYE BIKE garantiza que la pieza está libre de cualquier
defecto en los materiales utilizados en la fabricación y/o mano de obra en el
momento de su fabricación. Cualquier pieza que fuera defectuosa durante este
periodo será reparada o reemplazada a la discreción de BYE BIKE por un
distribuidor autorizado.
Cualquier pieza sustituida durante la vigencia de la garantía seguirá siendo
garantizada durante el periodo restante de la garantía.
Las piezas reemplazadas en garantía deberán ser devueltas a BYE BIKE por el
distribuidor y pasarán a ser propiedad de BYE BIKE.
BYE BIKE puede, a su discreción, efectuar cualquier reparación o reemplazo de
las piezas defectuosas fuera de la garantía, pero ese trabajo no se considerará
como una admisión de responsabilidad.
CONDICIONES Y EXCLUSIONES
1. El vehículo no debe haber sido utilizado en competición, haber recibido un
mal uso o un mantenimiento defectuoso.
2. El vehículo debe haber cumplido con el mantenimiento indicado en el
Manual del Usuario y haberse rellenado el registro de servicio.
3. Los defectos causados por un mal ajuste o por reparaciones y alteraciones
en el vehículo no están cubiertos por esta garantía.
4. Los defectos causados por el uso de piezas y accesorios no autorizados por
BYE BIKE no están cubiertos por esta garantía.
5. La garantía no cubre el costo de accesorios y otras piezas, a menos que
fueran suministradas como equipo original o fueran recomendadas por BYE
BIKE.
6. La garantía no cubre los costes de transporte del vehículo desde o hacia el
distribuidor o los gastos incurridos mientras el vehículo está fuera de servicio.
7. Piezas sujetas a desgaste tales como bujías, filtros, neumáticos, bombillas,
cadenas, zapatas/pastillas de freno... están cubiertas por esta garantía
solamente en el caso de que se demuestre que existía un defecto de
fabricación.
8. Otros elementos excluidos de la garantía son los asientos, equipaje, pintura,
cromo, artículos de aluminio pulido o deterioro causado por el desgaste
normal, rotura o falta de mantenimiento correcto.
9. Las baterías tienen una garantía de 12 meses a partir de la fecha original de
compra. Después de este período de 12 meses, la batería está excluido de los
términos de esta garantía. Esta garantía sólo es válida para baterías
encargados por un distribuidor autorizado BYE BIKE.
10. La garantía no cubre los defectos que no hayan sido comunicados a un
distribuidor autorizado dentro de los diez días del descubrimiento del defecto.
11. La garantía no cubre los vehículos que han sido insuficientemente
lubricados, o para los que se ha utilizado el combustible o lubricante
equivocado.
12. BYE BIKE y sus distribuidores autorizados no serán responsables por la
pérdida de uso, inconvenientes, pérdida de tiempo, pérdidas comerciales u
otros daños incidentales o consecuentes a una garantía.
Esta garantía deberá interpretarse de conformidad con las leyes locales y
cualquier problema que surja relacionado con esta garantía estará sujeta a la
jurisdicción de los tribunales locales.
