WARNING
No non-professional personnel is allowed to disassemble or remove the battery.
Please contact a BYD authorised service provider for dissembling and removal.
If the battery case is damaged or bulged, it is recommended to contact a BYD
authorised service provider for handling.
WARM TIP
Do not use on-board electrical appliances such as the audio system, navigation
system (if any), A/C blower, and lighting system for a long time while the motor is off.
Otherwise, it may cause over-discharge of the battery, resulting in failure to start the
motor, or in severe case, permanently damage the battery.
Before you leave the vehicle, make sure that all doors have been closed and all
electrical appliances have been turned off.
Fuse
All electric circuits on the vehicle are
provided with fuses to prevent causing
short circuits or over-load operation.
The interior fuse box is located at the
dashboard on the driver's seat/front
passenger's side. This box can be seen
once the lower shield of the dashboard
is removed.
The front compartment fuse box is
located on the left side of the motor
compartment. If you want to open this
box, just press the lock latch as shown
in the figure.
The fuse box label is located on the
inner side of upper cover of front
compartment distribution box.
