Electric Parking Brake System (EPB)

EPB switch

The EPB switch can replace the traditional parking
brake lever.



The EPB switch is installed on the gearshift

panel.

Applying the EPB manually

Pull up the

and then

indicator on the instrument will flash first before staying on. If

this indicator stays on, it indicates that the EPB has been applied, and the message of
"EPB activated" will be displayed.

CAUTION

Flashing of

indicates that the EPB is in service. If the vehicle is on a hill at this

moment, do not release the brake pedal, to prevent causing the risk of vehicle sliding.

Release the brake pedal after the

Applying the EPB automatically



Applying the EPB automatically upon power-off:

After stopping the vehicle by depressing the brake pedal, press the START/STOP

button to power off the vehicle (the ignition switch is shifted from OK to OFF), the
EPB will be pulled up automatically. Release the brake pedal when the indicator
on the instrument stays on after flashing and the message "EPB activated" is
displayed.
