This symbol indicates that the product must be additionally grounded if
additional grounding or equipotential bonding is required at the
installation site.
The battery modules is heavy enough to cause severe injury.
Keep the system away from children or animals.
Safety Instructions
The installers are required to read the contents and safety warnings before starting the
installation.
2.2.1
Intended Use
The system is for commercial/industrial use. It is a 729.6V Li-ion battery storage system, and
must be operated with compatible inverters.
The system could be connected with Internet through network cable for maintenance and
software update.
The system must only be used as stationary equipment.
The system is suitable for indoor use only.
The system is not suitable for supplying life-sustaining medical devices. Please ensure that no
personal injury would lead due to the power outage of the system.
Alterations to the BYD system, e.g., changes or modifications are not allowed unless the written
permission of BYD Europe B.V. is achieved.
The enclosed document is an integral part of this system. Keep the documentation in a
convenient, dry place for future reference and observe all instructions contained therein.
The type label should be always attached to the system.
2.2.2
Qualified Personnel
The guide and instructions described in this documents are may only be performed by qualified
installer/electrician
.
The qualified personnel must have the following skills/experience:
1. Knowledge of the handling procedures and safety hazards associated with transporting,
storing and disposing of lithium-ion batteries
2. Training in how to deal with the dangers and risks associated with installing, repairing and
using electrical devices, batteries and installations
